What’s going on with the Restrictive Covenant for Windsor Park?

You’ve no doubt seen the green “I support Windsor Park Restrictive Covenant” signs popping up on lawns around the neighborhood.

As of March 18th approximately 1/3 of homes in North Windsor Park have registered their interest in signing a restrictive covenant (RC) that would prevent large multiplex developments from being built on small scale residential lots.

It is important for those who want to join the RC to make sure they register their interest since the next step is a signing event where the lawyers will explain the RC to property owners and have them sign. This is anticipated for mid to late April.

There will be subsequent signings to make sure everyone can be scheduled. The plan is to have the signings completed by the end of May and filed with Land Titles.

The legal fees to sign an RC for each property will be around $200.
